A little bit about Ashley

Ashley Farrington was born and raised in Washington and loves the local outdoor lifestyle. After college, Ashley began a thriving career in Sales and Marketing working first for home builders and then high tech companies such as Microsoft, Mercata, Who's Calling and then as a consultant for almost a decade. She brings her experience in marketing to her real estate career offering social media and professional print marketing which allow my listings to stand out from the crowd.

Equestrian Specialist 
Ashley is an animal lover of all kinds. As a founding member of the Windermere Equestrian Network, she has owned horses for the past 30 years. She and her husband have been developing their own 3-acre “gentleman’s farm” for the past 17 years. The farm currently includes 3 mini donkeys, 2 mini pigs, 8 chickens, 1 turkey, 2 dogs and 2 cats. Ashley combines her own experience as a farm-owner to her clients either looking for new property or perhaps considering their first equestrian land purchase as well as those planning to sell their home.  Ashley has the experience necessary to properly assess the options and choose the right property for her clients and her listing clients benefit from her passion for the equestrian lifestyle as she uses her background to effectively market their property to potential buyers.  

Philanthropy 
Ashley is committed to giving back to her community.  As a horse lover she has dedicated valuable time and money to help horses in need through Save a Forgotten Equine (SAFE) in Redmond and Wild Love Preserve focused on keeping wild horses wild in Challis, Idaho. In addition to the many fundraising activities in local schools and sports activities, for 10 years Ashley served as Vice President of the Mitochondrial Research Guild at Seattle Children’s Hospital. During her tenure, the Guild raised over $3 million dollars to fund research and provide funds for special projects. She was also involved in the creation of the Metabolic & Mitochondrial Clinic, located at the hospital.
